Kicking writer's block is hard and it helps to have a friend who will kick you!

I've gone through a long dry spell in my writing. Thanks to the gentle prodding (read: kicking me in the backside) of my dear friend, Desiree Holt, I did get to writing like a fiend. Within a month, I'd finished two books that had been sitting around in my files for YEARS!

I guess that's the secret of overcoming writer's block. Get somebody who loves you to kick you in the keester hard enough that you can climb over the block and onto the road to getting some pages done. And that's all it is. Get the next page. Then the one after that. And the next one... Pretty soon, you've got a book!
